Introduction
During 2004, CoachVille is supporting the developing of local CoachVille Study Groups.
And, we have been asked recently to also support the development of Virtual
Study Groups, meaning that you as a the host would be facilitating a
conference call with 5 to 25 other coaches who have an interest in one of
CoachVille's 3 Step Training Modules or other coach related trainings.
Coaches tell us they don't live close enough to a group of other coaches, or that they
simply prefer to meet in this virtual format for convenience, less stress, family
time/concerns.
Guidelines
Here are the guidelines we have established for
Virtual Study Groups, which are more rigorous than the guidelines to be a local Study
Group Host, given the format and 'delivery location' is different.
1. The host's tone/style used is not instructional but rather facilitative.
2. The host may not charge tuition/fee for these "calls."
3. The host may only use CoachVille provided materials/topics during these calls. No other
resources may be used. (Remember these are CoachVille Virtual Study Groups, not John
Smith's Study Groups.)
4. CoachVille will provide a bridge for the study groups use. The bridge is
not to be used for anything other than the study group. Violators will have
their Study Group Host Status removed.
5. CoachVille will help funnel members to your group, but it is up to the
host to manage/keep track of their group.
6. Do not market to your group, without their permission. Not only is
this tacky, it's unethical. And we will hear about it. (always do).
