Before the Event
|
| |
Select the MicroModule you would like to host.
Either host by yourself or host with a buddy. |
| |
Select
a date (3 weeks out) and invite your colleagues to join you. Ask
them to invite others. Adapt from the invitation letter
that accompanies the MicroModule that you have chosen.
Require RSVPs so you can control group size and include really,
really specific directions to your home, along with parking
guidelines. |
| |
Listen to
the RealAudio of the Host Training that MicroModule and/or read
the transcription.
|
| |
Download/print worksheets and host guide for that module.
|
| |
Work
the exercise/steps yourself to get a feeling for it. Fill
in the worksheet(s). |
| |
If
you feel that you need a 'resident expert' on this topic to join
you please invite them. |
| |
Like
the airlines, overbook your event; assume a 20% no show
factor. Note that some hosts prefer the 5 to 7 range of
attendees; others prefer a larger group. Generally, the
smaller the group, the more intimate; the larger the group, the
more exciting. |
