Graduation and Certification Path Unveiled for the Thomas Leonard Coaching School

It’s been a long time coming, finally the requirements for graduation and certification within the Thomas Leonard Coaching School were announced in preparation for our first graduates.

Of course not all SOC students are interested in graduation, many are registered to continue to advance their coach training, skills and be part of the continuing innovation of coaching. They are lifelong learners. However, for the many of our students who are interested in graduation we’re unveiling the requirements for both graduation from the schools, as well as the requirements for becoming a certified graduate:

To graduate from the school a student must complete 50 required courses plus 25 electives, and pass the module exams with at least an 80% grade. References from two practicing coaches are required, and all graduates must agree to uphold the ethics and standards for coaches as set forth by CoachVille.

To become a Certified Graduate from the TLC, the following additional requirements must be met: 55 of the 75 hours must be taken live. In addition to the online multiple choice exam, students must pass a scenario based written exam, have an assessment of their coaching completed by five of their coaching clients, and have 3 observed coaching sessions with actual clients (can be live, real audio, or taped) reviewed by a CoachVille certifying board coach). There are additional requirements which will be posted to the Schools of CoachVille member site.
