Introduction

Coachv-L is a discussion list, which means that you can reach out directly to all of the other CoachVille members who are on this list. (In contrast to an ezine, in which the owner or editor creates the content and broadcasts it out to all subscribers.) Email messages addressed to the list are received by all subscribers to the list. CoachVille member Pat Gundry runs this list for CoachVille as a volunteer.

To Subscribe

To subscribe send an email message to: LISTSERV@HSLC.ORG
In the body of the message; write only the following:
SUBSCRIBE COACHV-L [insert your name here, omitting the brackets]

To Unsubscribe

To unsubscribe from COACHV-L send an email message to LISTSERV@HSLC.ORG
In the body of the message write:
SIGNOFF COACHV-L

Optional

To modify your subscription from time to time:

Digest Version
To receive the digest version of COACHV-L:
Send an email message to:
LISTSERV@HSLC.ORG
In the body of the message write:
SET COACHV-L DIGEST

Change From Digest to Individual Messages
To change from the digest version of COACHV-L back to getting individual messages again:
Send an email message to:
LISTSERV@HSLC.ORG
In the body of the message write:
SET COACHV-L NODIGEST

Index of Subject Topics
To receive an index of message subject topics in the digest rather than the messages, with instructions as to how to retrieve the messages you want to read:
Send an email message to:
LISTSERV@HSLC.ORG
In the body of the message write:
SET COACHV-L INDEX

Change From Subject Topics to Digest
To return to the regular digest version of the list:
Send an email message to:
LISTSERV@HSLC.ORG
In the body of the message write:
SET COACHV-L NOINDEX

No Mail (Great for vacations)
To set your subscription to No Mail, which will keep you subscribed but prevent you receiving messages or digests until you change your subscription to Mail again:
Send an email message to:
LISTSERV@HSLC.ORG
In the body of the message write:
SET COACHV-L NOMAIL

Turn Mail Back On
When you wish to receive messages again, send an email message to:
LISTSERV@HSLC.ORG
In the body of the message write:
SET COACHV-L MAIL

Other Options
To get a list of commands the COACHV-L managing software will respond to send an email message to LISTSERV@HSLC.ORG
In the body of the message write:
HELP
