It’s State of the Ville time and I have an inspiring message to share with you

We are elevating our game at CoachVille!  (I love the way that sounds)

 First, did you notice the new tagline on the CV Home Page? – Where Coaching Lives!  We love it because it describes what CV is all about – growing, innovating, thriving.

 The mission at CV is to improve the quality of Coaching Worldwide. 
We continue to do this in lots of ways and our global membership grows every single day.

We are invigorating our mission with a BIG and singular purpose.

Our new Coach-Two-Win^TM method starts with defining a winnable game.  Now that I have several coaches around me who are quite masterful with the method, they are beginning to coach me!  And they are asking me: “Dave, are we playing a winnable game at CoachVille?”

Yikes! The answer is NO!  We have not been playing a winnable game at all.

The game changes today and we know that our drive to sustainability will be an inspiration to everyone in the coaching game.

Two elements of our previous business model that made it unwinnable and unsustainable were lifetime access and free.  So we are shifting to an “active membership” model with annual renewals AND a “pay to play” business model. 

Essentially we are recruiting you onto our new team and into our BIG game. 

Here is how our BIG game is played.

1) A new “Active Membership” model.

 Beginning 12/01/06 all CoachVille memberships will require an annual renewal.

It will be a small thing for you to press a button that says: “Yes, I want to renew my CV membership”, but it will be a very BIG thing for us.  Right now we have no idea how many CV members there really are.  And this uncertainty is making it very hard to run the business.

 How this change is a benefit to you..

By knowing exactly how many active members we have we can more accurately plan our class offerings and member services staffing requirements.  We will be better able to serve you by knowing that you are an active member.

The CoachVille resource center - probably the most comprehensive in the coaching industry will be renamed the Thomas J. Leonard Coach Training Center in honor of the man who dedicated his life to the development and promotion of the life/business coaching profession.  

The training center features ANYTIME access to hours of recordings and thousands of pages of inspired writing all neatly organized so that you can find what you need when you need it.

The Coach Training Center is a designed winning environment to increase your value in the market place.  Visit often to accelerate your positive evolution.

 Basic membership
Free with annual renewal – includes access to a small number of extremely valuable tools and resources including the complete Certified Coach Program recorded by Thomas – possibly his most inspired program ever.  Think of it as starter kit for your life as a coach.

 Gold membership
Annual fee – Access to the extensive training center
The annual access fee for 2007 is just $79 and it includes the rest of 2006

This is an incredible value since the retail price for everything in the training center would easily surpass $1,000.  In my estimation the content in YOUR Coach Training Center is Priceless!

There are a few resources in the training center that are so extensive that there will be a small additional fee to access the complete program.

YOUR Coach Training Center contains the very best of Thomas Leonard’s insights, challenging ideas and timeless wisdom.  In addition we will add new content from our growing library of writings and recordings.

On a personal note, over the past year we have invested a great deal of time and energy in sprucing up and re-energizing Thomas’ timeless wisdom in building the training center and we know you will enjoy the new look.  My personal assistant, Maritxa, has become a full time Thomas Leonard archivist!  She wants to keep working in that capacity and we think it will take almost another full year to find, refine and organize everything that Thomas created for you.  She is just the person for that job but now I need another assistant!

You can access the Gold Level Coach Training Center for free until November 10th 2006.

Over the past year, the members of the CV Team have absolutely transformed their businesses and lives through the use of game pattern language and the design of a winnable game.  I want you to know that this decision to evolve the CV business model is a team decision. We are in this FOR YOU together.
