Announcing the CCI Teleconference Program
The 15 Listening
Clarifiers, part of the Coachville Coaching system, are so powerful
even on their own, that new coaches can start out just using those,
and be effective with their clients! That's because the more you can
hear about what your client is actually saying, the more you can
zero in on what they really need.
For example, knowing whether the client is addressing the
goal/challenge/situation, or avoiding it will help you address
whether they need to create an environment, set an action plan, or
something else entirely. And it's perfectly fine to ask the client
if they are addressing or avoiding the issue, and whether or not
that's what they WANT to be doing.
By clarifying what's going on for our clients, we can avoid making
assumptions by filtering what the client is saying through our own
biases. And it will help avoid glossing over an event or obstacle
that was really important to the client, regardless of what it might
appear within our own framework.
While the clarifiers may seem simple at first, their power lies in
putting language to things that we do intuitively, by having
language for this, increasing the power exponentially.

For many of us, our
first introduction to the CoachVille Coaching system came on an
R&D call with Thomas Leonard. So when he and Dave Buck embarked
on a "tour" teaching the Proficiencies, Clarifier, etc in
live weekend intensives, we immediately signed up. And we were not
disappointed.
But we recognized that not everyone can get to one of the weekend
intensives, and we wanted to address that. So we've created the CCI
teleconference series that will enable you to attend one from the
comfort of your home or office. More about that below. And i the
classes themselves aren't value enough, you'll also gain access to
the Certified Coach Participant Resource area which includes all the
notes, real audios and mp3s of the New York City CCI with Dave and
Thomas. It's a real treat!
Are you a coach who...
Has heard about the 15 Coaching Proficiencies from CoachVille and is eager to learn them in a weekly teleconference format? (No travel required!)
Had hoped to attend the live version of the Coachville CCI but did not have the opportunity?
Has been looking for a universal coaching model that can be adapted to a wide variety of client types and situations?
Has attended a live CCI conference and would like the opportunity to revisit the content and learn how to really incorporate it your coaching?
Is considering the IAC Certified Coach designation and wishes to prepare yourself for the exam?
Is new to the coaching game and wants to quickly understand how to coach well instead of waiting years to learn by trial and error?
Is working internally or externally for a company and is seeking an open-architecture approach to coach leaders in the company?
This 6 or 12-week training (your choice!) is the type of
immersion, highly experiential and essential training that
you've been looking for. And it helps prepare you for the
Certified Coach designation offered by the IAC (International
Association of Coaches), should that be a part of your
professional plans.

Quirks:
I enjoy converting complex materials into simple ideas, which is well suited for technical editing and especially tutoring young adults. I also enjoy listening to the wind through fir trees (weird, eh?) and have a serious knack for target shooting.
What I love about Member Services:
As a new player on the Member Services Team, I was awed by their passion for the need to service the members in a timely way. Since one of my passions is Service, being placed on this team has not only been gratifying but has increased my desire to learn the CoachVille systems, take CoachVille courses, and join CoachVille Communities.
