Member Services Feature—Marsha Talley

Background:

  • M.S. in technical communications

  • 20 years in print publishing

  • 7 years in web design

  • Qualified to give the Myers-Briggs personality inventory

Passionate about:

  • authenticity, being real

  • the written word

  • understanding

  • living effectively with the high sensitivity trait and

  • helping others, too

Quirks:

I like rain, clouds and snow days. I like old 16mm movies and educational  films.  My most "famous" quirk is that I'm "quiet."  But get me warmed up on a topic I'm passionate about and I could talk a blue streak.  Some may know me as Marki, owner of www.netsparrow.com and one of the oldest and largest discussion lists for introverts on the internet -- where introversion is not the same as shyness and introverted list members "talk" a blue streak, too!

What I love about my work with Member Services:

Being an editor, which puts me in touch with so many interesting and wonderful people.  The "small" stuff, a link here, a clarification there, extra attention to spelling and style.  Working behind the scenes since 1999, I've seen CoachVille's Top 10s grow from text version to HTML, from a few subscribers to over 10,000.  But what I love most is that, through my work, coaches and subscribers find each other, inspire each other and learn.
