Calling All Coaches Phone Campaign Update

There are 62 eager members of the “Calling All Coaches” Phone Campaign diligently attempting to have a conversation with each and every member of the Schools of Coachville.

They have emailed about 2,000 of you to set up a time to talk and have only heard back from about 25%.  They appreciate you are probably really busy and they would love to get a response from you (feel free to decline to talk) just so they can be sure that you have been given the opportunity to talk with someone.

To date they have talked with 78 people and have the following general results:

Average Rating for the Schools of Coachville is 3.4 out of a possible 4.

The top 3 positive comments are:

  1. Members love the superior tools, reference materials and resources that the schools offer.
  2. Members experience enormous personal and professional growth and enhancement from being a part of the schools.
  3. Members love the connections that they make with others in the schools.

The top 3 negative comments are:

  1. Members often feel confused about where to start a course of study and how to proceed.  They experience confusion and overwhelm and would like pathways or guides.
  2. Members often have difficulty maneuvering the website.
  3. Members often feel like they receive too much email from Coachville.

The number one thing members what or need from Coachville is:

  1. Clarification on the usability of Coachville materials including website maneuverability.

The main benefits that members receive from the calls are:

  1. The members love the personal connection and they feel like Coachville cares.
  2. They are grateful to be reminded of Coachville’s resources.
  3. They are reminded about the communities that exist within Coachville like Study Groups and Chapters.

Stay tuned to future edition for updates on how Coachville is responding to the needs of its members based on the feedback from the Campaign.

As the phone campaign evolves and they reach all of the existing members of the Schools, they will begin to take on being a welcoming team for all new members of both the Schools and Coachville.  We are committed to making the experience of being a member of Coachville personal and rewarding.

We could use many more volunteers to reach existing members and be a Welcome Ambassador for new members.

We specifically need Volunteers in:

Arizona, Australia, California, Canada, Europe, Hawaii, Illinois, Indianan, Minnesota, New Mexico, Nevada, N. Carolina, Ohio, Tennessee, United Kingdom, Utah and Washington.

If you would like to volunteer, please contact patti@coachville.com and put Phone Campaign Volunteer in the subject.

Thanks for your commitment to coaching and to supporting the community!

We Need Your Success Stories!

We are in the process of building a major Public Relations campaign for CoachVille. Our goal is to create buzz about CoachVille for all the newspapers, magazines, radio, and television stations around the world. And we would love your help!

I. Client Success Stories

Do you have any CLIENT success stories that you can share with us? Have you been working with a client that has had a spectacular result that you think others would be interesting in knowing? Please send it to us. We want to know. We will be contacting the press shortly and if your success story is selected you may be interviewed for an article about CoachVille and coaching.

We are looking for the following information. Please follow the format below and be as specific as possible.

Note: We are not looking for client names. But if your success story is selected the press may want to talk with that individual, so before you respond, please check with your client and get their permission.

  1. The Client's Problem:
What was your client’s problem? For example: Was their business losing money? Were they looking for a new relationship? Did their department have high turnover? Did they want to get into shape? Be as specific as possible.

  2. The Action You Took to Solve the Problem:
What was the action you took to help the client solve their problem? For example: Did you use a program at Coachville or a program you created on your own? Did you follow a system or procedure to help your client? What did you do specifically to help your client?

  3. The Result:
What was the clients result? For example: Did your client go from $0 in revenue to $6 million in six months? Did your client start a new job with a high salary, get married, lose 15 pounds, etc?  Please tell us the exact result as well as how long it took to achieve this result.

II. Your Story

We are also looking for your story too. Why did you go into coaching and how did it improve your life? Your story can be a role model for those who are looking to enter the coaching profession. Please tell us about your life before coaching (what you did as a profession), how and why you got into it, how Coachville has helped you, and how your life has changed as a result of being a coach. Please be as specific as possible.

Articles on Coaching

We are looking for articles that are between 500 to 750 words that are educational in nature. We are not looking for your story, or your client’s story in these articles, but how-to practical information for those who do not know about coaching or are somewhat familiar with coaching that can understand the concept of coaching right away.

If you article is selected, we will post it to the CoachVille web site and full credit will be given to you as the author.

Please send your story, your client stories, and any articles you have written about coaching to pr@coachville.com.  Please include your city and state as well as your telephone number.

Member Services Feature - Amanda Murphy

CoachVille Operations Role: The Wizard behind the curtain at CoachVille Communities & mentoring programs. I've been setting up the new website for these two areas and helping all of you get started with these powerful tools.

Other CoachVille Roles: $0 to $60K Mentor Coach; developing branding content for the Schools of CoachVille; working on a new CoachVille business resource center

  Background:

  • BA in Elementary and Mathematics Education

  • MBA

  • 12 years managing a fast-growing environmental consulting firm in Seattle WA

  • Coach U Graduate

  • Self-employed as a coach since 1999; small business startup and development, branding, and Core Dynamics

Things you might not know about me:

  • My coaching business took off when I quit working on it and painted the rooms in my house instead.

  • My parents were ½ Yuppie and ½ Folk-Music Hippies. We lived in the northshore Chicago suburbs and my dad is an attorney. They jammed with Jerry Garcia in the 60’s and bought us kids a beat-up turquoise 1957 Ford pickup to park next to all our schoolmates’ shiny new Corvettes. They taught us to do things our own way.

  •  I made up my last name.

  • For weekends when I came home from college, my mom kept the fridge stocked with lettuce, cucumbers, and diet coke. (I have kicked the diet coke habit…)

What I love about my job:  the chess game. I love hunting down exactly what is causing a problem and being able to get in there and fix it. I love hearing our members say, “I can’t believe someone from CoachVille actually called me! Thank you for fixing this for me!”

In addition to her member services role, Amanda is also a Mentor Coach in CoachVille’s 0-60K program (www.coachvillementoring.com).  Learn more about Amanda at her website, www.TellMeWhatYouDo.com.
