We’ve
got some exciting announcements and big time buzz about
CoachVille’s leader, Dave Buck.

may remember earlier this year when CoachVille was selected as a
“Purple Cow” by marketing guru, Seth Godin. (Seth frequently
writes for Fast Company.) You may be asking
yourself, is being called a “Purple Cow” a compliment or an
insult? Well, keep

Announces Pursuit of ICF Accreditation We hear you loud
and clear! Based on
overwhelming feedback, we are excited to announce CoachVille is
applying for accreditation for the Schools of Coaching.
In 2004, students will have the option of not only graduating
from our coach training programs but also becoming certified through
the International Coach Federation.
We’ll be releasing more details in the weeks ahead—keep a
lookout for a newly revamped SOC Member News! CoachVille recently
participated in the ICF Conference in Denver, Colorado November 12
– 15, unveiling an exciting new look, new CoachVille pins,
bookmarks and other goodies. A
big thank you to everyone who stopped by the booth! In addition, Dave
Buck addressed the conference during the opening ceremonies, sharing
his vision of “oneness” for the coaching industry.
The response was overwhelmingly positive, with several
standing ovations from the audience.
Peter Reding, Executive Director of the Association of Coach
Training Organizations (ACTO), had this to say about CoachVille’s
unification with the ICF, “I
believe that Dave’s visit to create bridges with the ICF and ACTO
will strengthen the coaching profession and is therefore the single
most important event in the coaching profession that has occurred in
