Philosophy

The $0-60K Mentoring program is structured around the Three Masteries of a Professional Coach:

  • Mastery of The Self
  • Mastery of Business Skills (marketing, sales, planning)
  • Mastery of the Coaching Proficiencies  (the CoachVille Coaching System)

The Schools of CoachVille provide the program content:

  • In the Thomas Leonard Coaching School (TLC) program, participants master the Coaching Proficiencies.

  • In the School of Personal Development (SPD), participants master themselves

  • In the Full Practice Program (FPP), participants master business skills.

Benefits

Certified mentor coach designation

You will be mentored during the year by Dave Buck and Rita Fiore (our lead mentor). This mentoring is an added value, and is included in your mentor designation at no additional charge.

Monthly training on program design and resources

You will participate in a powerful community of mentors:  successful coaches setting the standards in their profession

Retreat days at the beginning and end of the program

Recognition in the Coaching Community:  acknowledgement in the “CoachVille Member News”  and at CoachVille Conferences

You will be paid $500/month to mentor your group

Mentors in this program may be considered for future CoachVille event leaders or teleclass leaders  (not required, but a possible option if you are interested)

Requirements

You must have a financially successful coaching practice.

You must be willing to commit to the program for 1 year.

You must be willing to take on approximately 10 participants for 1 year AND be committed to their success.

You must be willing to dedicate approximately 12 hours per month to your mentees (group sessions and some 1-1 time)

You must be willing to take on a project of your own – perhaps going for six figures or more in coaching income.

You must be an SOC member or become one prior to the start of the program.

We may require you to participate in a few assessments (like DISC and the Strength Finder Profile) to match participants with a mentor based on assessment results.  You will be required to pay any incidental fees associated with taking these assessments. In addition, this program will be part of a research project in which the  findings may be published and/or shared.  If you apply and are accepted as a mentor, you agree to participate in this research.

What the $0-60K Mentor Program includes:

Group calls on a tele-bridge - 3 calls per month; 90 minutes per call.  On these calls you will receive coaching and guided practice sessions around the integration of the content of the curriculum into your coaching business.

One on one coaching with your mentor - the program will include two 30-minute sessions each month

Buddy rotation - Each person will have a buddy from the group each week.  There will be assigned conversations for the buddy calls.  These calls are intended to provoke challenging exploration of the topic of the week, NOT buddy coaching.  They are intended to build relationships and community.

Practical fieldwork - The participants will be asked to complete assignments between the group sessions.  This work will create powerful experiential learning.

Resources - Need to know the best ways to virtualize your practice?  Want to know the best technologies?  These practical solutions are all part of the $0-60K Mentor Program.

Group size - approximately 10 people per mentor.

CoachVille Community - Each group will have a page in the (soon to be announced) CoachVille Community System.  You will have on-line access to buddy schedules, the roster for the group, a bulletin board and a group email system.  Details coming soon, but for now just know that this is VERY cool!

If you’ve ever had a personal problem that you just couldn’t solve or an issue with someone that you couldn’t resolve, you may have wondered:  “What is REALLY going on here?”  The answer lies in what we call The Core Dynamics of Common Problemssm.  The Absence of You event = the absence of core dynamics at play in your life.  In this seminar, we go deeply into these dynamics, which are the basis of virtually all human problems.  You will learn how to identify the behaviors and begin to absence them.  You will also learn about conflicting intentions and how they drain your energy.  This is a challenging and soul-searching experience.  While it’s extremely useful for people who coach others, that is not the focus.  The focus in this program is you!
